Jefferson Township Spring Cleanup
NOTICE 4/2/11: The township will be holding a spring clean up on Saturday, April 16, 2011 from 8am until noon. Permits are required prior to the clean-up. Residents can purchase permits on Monday & Thursday 10am-1pm , Thursday evenings 4pm-6pm or Saturday April 9th 9am-11am. Cost of permit $10.00.
Permit: $10.00 PROOF OF RESIDENCY is REQUIRED.
Materials NOT accepted: No hazardous materials such as paint solvents or thinners, paint cans with contents, pesticides, herbicides, or chemicals will be accepted. Also not accepted: automobiles, dirt, cement, loose nails or screws. NO CONTRACTORS REFUSE!
Jefferson Township offers residents a one day clean-up in which they are invited to bring unwanted junk and clutter from their properties. The cleanup is held at the Jefferson Township Volunteer Fire Company parking lot. Accepted items are: furniture, car batteries, automotive waste oil, car tires, appliances and yard waste (brush, leaves, clippings).
