Sewer Authority

Meetings: Third Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m.

Please note: If you are a Township resident and are not hooked up to the municipal sewer system, problems or questions about your on-lot septic system should be directed to Jefferson Township Sewer Officer Homer Butler at 570-689-2952, not the Sewer Authority. 

The Sewer Authority is a seven (7) member volunteer board appointed by the Board of Supervisors for a five year term.

The Sewer Authority Office is located in the Jefferson Township Municipal Building.Sewer fees have are a flat rate of $150.00 per EDU per quarter.
